KAIZEN Trainings to Japan

KAIZEN trainings in Japan (training missions)  are trainings of representatives of Ukrainian business in Japanese companies.


The main purpose of training missions is to show to the trainees how lean production philosophy works in real environment. KAIZEN Club in Ukraine organizes training missions to Japan with the support of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Embassy of Japan in Ukraine. According to this governmental program more than 160 Ukrainian businessmen have already been trained in Japan.


Duration of the training is from 2 to 3 weeks. During this time participants have opportunity to visit different companies in several cities, where they are trained by specialists of JICA-center, as well as leading experts and executives of those companies they visit. Additionally cultural program is organized for the trainees in their free time from training. The program includes a variety of excursions and activities that give an opportunity to understand more mentality and traditions of Japan and its citizens.


Training takes place in companies of different fields of activities. Therefore potential  participants for training missions are selected on the basis of type of activity of the company. KAIZEN trainings in Japan are of the following types:

  • for representatives of heavy industry;
  • for representatives of light industry;
  • for representatives of agricultural sector;
  • general training that can be participated by representatives of companies of any field of activity.


Only top management of Ukrainian companies can take part in these trainings.

The registration process and selection of applications begin three months before the expected date of the training mission.

Number of members in a group – from 6 to 10 people.
