Membership in KAIZEN Club in Ukraine can be individual and collective.

 

Individual members of the Club can be citizens who are both residents and non-residents of Ukraine, who recognize the Statute of the Club and participate in the implementation of the statutory objectives of the Club. Citizens-owners of private companies with 10 or more employees cannot be individual members of the Club.

 

Collective members of the Club can be staff of any Ukrainian or foreign organizations who are interested in development of the Club activities and international organizations interested in the development of the Club, recognize and respect the requirements of the Statute, Code of Ethics and other agreements of KAIZEN Club.

 

Join
The Board of Founders of KAIZEN Club in Ukraine automatically becomes members of the Club after state registration in the Ministry of Justice.

Admission of new members to KAIZEN Club in Ukraine is carried out in accordance with the rules of the Club upon submission of a written application form to the Board of Founders of KAIZEN Club through its Management. Decisions on admission of new members to the Club are made by simple majority of the total members of the Board of Founders.

How to apply for admission to KAIZEN Club in Ukraine?

1. In case of necessity KAIZEN Club staff will provide any additional information regarding membership.

2. Completed application forms will be submitted to the KAIZEN Club Board of Founders of for approval.

3. The application will be reviewed within one month and then potential Club member will be informed about the decision of admission to the Club. If the application is approved by the Board of Founders the applicant will receive a welcome letter, the agreement of membership at KAIZEN Club and a proforma invoice for payment of entrance and membership fees.

4. Completed original of the application with company seal (for corporate bodies) and signature of the chief (applicant) as well as the signed agreement should be sent within a week after approval of the application to the office of KAIZEN Club: Peremohy Avenue, 37, Library of NTUU «KPI», 4th floor, Kyiv, 03056 Ukraine.

5. After the proforma invoices are fully paid (within 7 calendar days after receipt) the applicant is given the status of a member of KAIZEN Club in Ukraine and has a right to enjoy all benefits that are granted to Club members. New member of the Club will be invited to the ceremony of official admission of new members to KAIZEN Club.

Note. Official admission of new members to KAIZEN Club takes place twice a year  in January and July of each year. Membership in the Club is considered to be valid from the date of receipt of the official letter of granting the status of Club member.
Fees
During admission to KAIZEN Club in Ukraine the entrance fee is paid once to a bank account of the Club.

The amount of the entry fee is determined by the Management of KAIZEN Club in Ukraine once a year (from the 1st of December 2014 the amount of the entrance fee for collective membership is 3600 UAH and for individual membership is 2400 UAH). The entry fee is not refundable in case a member is leaving the Club or is excluded from it.

A member of KAIZEN Club in Ukraine pays annually membership fee in accordance with the selected type of membership, way and terms that are specified by the Management of KAIZEN Club in Ukraine once a year.

Membership fee is transferred to the bank account of the Club. The entry fee is not refundable in case a member is leaving the Club or is excluded from it.

Membership in KAIZEN Club in Ukraine can be individual and collective. Respectively KAIZEN Club in Ukraine has developed the following categories of membership (services that are provided should be consumed during the year).

All members of KAIZEN Club (of all membership categories) can also consume the following services:
  • membership discounts for participation in events of KAIZEN Club: 1st year – 5%, 2nd year – 10%, 3rd and subsequent years – 15%. Discount can be applied after consuming of package services of a certain category of membership;
  • placement of a company logo (a personal photo for individual members) on the website of KAIZEN Club in Ukraine in the section "Membership in the Club" (once per month);
  • company news publication (only for collective members) on the website of KAIZEN Club in Ukraine in the section "Membership in the Club" (once per month);
  • publication of information about members in Members Catalogue of KAIZEN Club in Ukraine that is published annually in the end of each year;
  • placement of information in the official Online community of KAIZEN Club (2 times per month);
  • distribution of company information (brochures, catalogues) during events organized by KAIZEN Club in Ukraine;
  • newsletter of KAIZEN Club in Ukraine in PDF format every two months.

All members of KAIZEN Club (of all membership categories) have equal rights and obligations.

After the entry to KAIZEN Club in Ukraine a member will be invited to the official ceremony of admission of new members of KAIZEN Club for receiving the membership package that includes:

 1. Certificate of Membership at KAIZEN Club in Ukraine.
 2. Badge of a member of KAIZEN Club.
 3. Information materials:
    - information brochures of KAIZEN Club in Ukraine;
    - newsletters of KAIZEN Club in Ukraine every two months;
    - books on Human Resource Management and Strategic Management by Dr. Shinichiro KAWAGUCHI.
Rights and duties
Rights of KAIZEN Club members:
  • take part in the General Meeting of KAIZEN Club;
  • contact management of the Club with questions and suggestions about statutory activities of KAIZEN Club;
  • delegate the Club representation of the interests and protection of the rights in accordance with the statutory goals and objectives of the Club;
  • receive reports on the activities of the Club, get information about current programs and plans;
  • using the services of the Club on basis of the agreement;
  • participate in events organized by KAIZEN Club in Ukraine, under the terms provided for the selected category of membership in the Club;
  • be initiator or executor of the events;
  • participate in seminars organized by KAIZEN Club, as a speaker (speakers can be both individual members and representatives of companies that are members of KAIZEN Club);
  • organize personal meetings with famous people: entrepreneurs, public figures, politicians, scientists and others (in case of compensation of direct expenses);
  • receive other services from the Club or order individual corporative services;
  • right to use the symbols of the Club on advertising media, advertising products, printed and electronic materials, etc. (KAIZEN Club members can ask for a logo etc.);
  • the right to demonstrate their membership in all relevant ways, such as for example to hang the certificate of membership in the office;
  • create and lead local offices of KAIZEN Club, both in regional centers and in other settlements;
  • on his own request member can dismiss membership in the Club, appeal membership termination at the General Meeting of KAIZEN Club.

Duties of KAIZEN Club members:
  • respect regulations of the Statute, Code of Ethics, decisions of the General Meeting and the Board of Founders of the Club;
  • participate in implementation of statutory goals and objectives of the Club;
  • promote the mission, objectives and activities of the Club;
  • pay in time and in full amount entrance and membership fees in amount, way and terms that are established by the General Meeting of Founders of the Club;
  • do not disclose confidential information about activities of the Club;
  • provide informational, financial and other support of activities of the Club.
Privileges for members
KAIZEN Club in Ukraine offers some additional privileges for its members:

1. New business contacts.
KAIZEN Club in Ukraine is interested not only in spreading the philosophy of KAIZEN across Ukraine, but also in establishing relationships between companies and expansion of their businesses.

For this reason KAIZEN Club organizes a variety of activities:
  • General Meeting of the Club. This is an internal event, organized twice a year for Club members only. Experts and consultants of KAIZEN Club in Ukraine (both local and foreign) are invited to this meeting in order to share with all followers achievements of KAIZEN movement. All members of the Club can visit this event (one representative from each company).
  • Sectorial basis committee meeting. These sectorial basis events are held once a year for Club members who represent various sectors. Specialists of a particular field are invited to these events in order to share their experiences in implementing KAIZEN tools. After the event all participants have the opportunity to learn from the experience of others and share their experience with representatives of other companies.
  • Business breakfasts/lunches/dinners can help representatives of companies establish business contacts with representatives of other companies, local and international experts in an informal atmosphere.

2. Exchange of information.
  • Membership Catalogue of KAIZEN Club in Ukraine. Each member of the Club receives a free catalogue once a year. Catalogs of KAIZEN Club in Ukraine are distributed and presented on all events in which KAIZEN Club participates.
  • Publications of news on the website of KAIZEN Club in Ukraine. Each collective member of the Club can publish monthly one news on the website of KAIZEN Club in Ukraine in the section "Membership in the Club".
  • Annual Report. It comes at the end of the year as a result of activities and achievements of KAIZEN Club in Ukraine over the past year.
  • Newsletter (information bulletin) that comes out once every two months. Club members receive a PDF-version of the e-newsletter every two months by email. Newsletter contains information about KAIZEN Club and Club related events that will occur in the near future, useful materials on lean production, interviews with successful individuals, information about KAIZEN movement in the world and much more.
Termination of membership
Termination of membership occurs in the following cases:
  • liquidation or reorganization of a body corporate  a member of the Club;
  • termination or withdrawal of membership can be done by submitting a letter by a member to the Board of Founders of the Club;
  • exclusion of a Club member from members of KAIZEN Club in Ukraine by a decision of the Board of Founders of the Club.

Members may be excluded from the Club in case of:
  • repeated violations of the Club Statute by a member of the Club and non-observance of decisions of the Board of Founders of the Club;
  • performing actions that the Board of Founders of the Clubs consider as incompatible with goals and objectives of the Club;
  • lack of participation in the activities of the Club in person or through a representative for at least 12 months, or non-payment of membership fees in the amount and terms approved by the Board of Founders of the Club;
  • a member of the Club don’t care about goodwill of the Club and with its actions caused or causes damage to property or business reputation of the Club;
  • activities of a member of the Club are contrary to the Statute of the Club or negatively influences on the Club.

In case of withdrawal or exclusion membership of the Club, membership fees are not refundable and are used for the purposes and objectives of the Club.
